Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern all flooring, remodeling, painting, carpentry, and installation services provided by LT Floors Company (“we”, “our”, “the Company”) to residential and commercial clients (“you”, “the customer”).
By requesting an estimate, approving a service, or allowing work to begin, you agree to these T&C.

2. Services Provided
LT Floors Company offers, including but not limited to:
• Tile installation
• Vinyl plank (LVP) installation
• Laminate installation
• Hardwood flooring installation
• Bathroom remodeling
• Shower waterproofing and Schluter systems
• Interior painting
• Finished carpentry
• Floor preparation and leveling
• Patio flooring installation
Additional services may be provided upon request and mutual agreement.

3. Estimates & Pricing
All estimates are based on the information provided at the time of inspection or consultation.
Prices may change if:
• Hidden damages are found (e.g., rotten subfloor, water damage, uneven slabs)
• Project scope is modified by the customer
• Additional materials or labor are required
Any price adjustments will be communicated before continuing the work.

4. Deposit & Payments
To schedule and begin your project:
• A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to secure materials, block scheduling, and reserve installation dates.
• The remaining balance (50%) is due upon completion of the project.
Payments must be made by:
✔ Cash
✔ Zelle
✔ Check
✔ Bank transfer
✔ Other methods previously agreed upon
Work will not begin until the deposit is received.

5. Cancellation Policy
Because materials and labor schedules must be reserved:
• Deposits are non-refundable after materials are purchased or the job is scheduled.
• If the customer cancels before material purchase, a 10% administrative fee may apply.
• If the customer cancels after work has started, payment for completed labor must be made.

6. Project Timeline
Estimated timelines (1–10 days depending on project) are approximate.
Delays may occur due to:
• Weather
• Material availability
• Unexpected structural issues
• Customer delays or changes
LT Floors Company is not responsible for delays outside our control.

7. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth project, the customer agrees to:
• Provide clear access to the work area
• Remove furniture and personal items unless otherwise arranged
• Approve materials and designs before installation
• Ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available during work
• Inform the crew of pets, restricted areas, alarms, or special conditions

8. Warranty
LT Floors Company provides:
• 1-year warranty on labor (installation only)
• Warranty does not cover:
• Customer damage
• Improper maintenance
• Material defects (manufacturer warranty applies)
• Water leaks unrelated to our waterproofing
• Movement or cracks caused by the structure or slab
Any issues must be reported within the warranty period.

9. Liability Limitations
LT Floors Company is not responsible for:
• Existing structural problems
• Pre-existing damage
• Issues caused by the property shifting or settling
• Mold, plumbing, or electrical issues not caused by our work
• Damages to items not removed from the workspace
We perform all services professionally, but some dust and noise during remodeling is unavoidable.

10. Changes During the Project
Any changes requested by the customer (scope of work, materials, layout, colors, or add-ons) must be approved through:
• Written confirmation (text message or email)
and may affect final cost and timeline.

Once the project is complete, the customer agrees to:
• Inspect the work
• Confirm satisfaction
• Complete final payment
Warranty begins after the final walk-through.
